ytwo deserves the things we have because we believe in ourselves. great that the band's happy.

YTWO! It's Tabitha. Haah. Okay. Camy has asked me to do a simpler template for the blog just to try out for a bit. It's really simple, clearly, so feel free to change it back whenever okay. I've saved the previous template in my com cause' i'm not really sure how to save it in here, so whoever's going to change the template back can get it from me or..Mel, i think.

NCO CAMP IS OVER!!
actually a week ago?
it was VERY FUN.
i managed to mingle around with alot of bms
from other schools.
ppl who share the same passion for music.
no doubt the best day camp i have ever BEEN TOO!

i hated it in the beginning.
all the bms in my section were shy.
plus i could'nt mingle around with them..
no matter how enthu i was.
i tot that the camp sucked..
but gradually, people started warming up to each other!
that was when the fun BEGAN!
i met ppl from all over sg and from school's i've never ever heard of.

i EVEN MET A VICTORIA SCHOOL BOY.
WEE!! so cool right? SAME SECTION AS WELL!
the first one i've ever met. HAHA!(jakun?)
there were alot of bms from prestiges schools in my section
st andrews st pats VI RI.chinese girls school
it was really fun to know them..
they are just normal ppl. with HIGHER IQ. GRR~

we did loads of stuff.
mm.. i went for the band major course.
as al of u should noe.. rachel went for DM(which contained more drill!)
i did display techniques,full band.leader course and basic drill and conducting class
plus the preparation of the performance ( the BMS ONE)

display tech
it was fun.. it was exactly like NDP lor..
learning the displays.. formations!! LOVE IT!
the sad part was we didnt need to perform it.. sadd..
but while i was having fun! i made my first male frend.
JASPER! from marie stella. very nice guy and a fantastic flautist.
he was infront of mi.. and mi being mi.
i bumped into him while doing formations.
then.. that was when we started being frends!

full band.. well..was full band i guess.
just a typical normal pract.
WITH LOADS OF FUN!
we didnt need to perfect our music.. there was no SYF.
there was no pressure.. of course the basics
of not going flat.. ETC full value.. still counted.
but there wasn't any pressure..
(there were comments on the NCO band at the POP always had a poor quality of sound
but this year, ppl commented that it was way better! YIPPIE!!)

leader course.. was dumb..
i thought it was.. teaching u how to handle problems..
BUT. it was talking bout needing a BM a DM
A COUNCIL. LAME LAR.. ALL CRAP.
GRR.. like we dunt noe the BASIC NEEDS ON HOW TO
build a band.. haah..
i was half aslp..

i LOVED BASIC DRILL!!
i love BEING TIMER LOR!!
it was so fun... im proud of my squad!! WEE!!~
we learnt the VERY BASICS.
i enjoyed it.
i made frends with many ppl.
and.. i PROVED THAT GIRLS CAN BE TIMERS LOR!! WEE
i love my squad.

most of the bms there
didnt conduct.. a and kenneth
were familiar in this area so we had no troubles learning
wad intrigued me was
he made it so easy.
i mean being able to count the dotted quavers and such.
i cant explain it to u in blog. HAHA
but 2 and a half hours.. wasnt a waste of time..
i enjoyed it as well..


in NCO. i opened my eyes and realised that many bands are fighting not just only us.
i didnt elaborate about NCO because i cant exaplin my happiness in to words.
the joy i felt. it was just.. incredible.
i hanged out with SWISS SEMBWINDS CTWINDs AND ZWINDS
the leaders were great companions and frends.

i will visit the next batch of leaders going for NCO WEEEE!!~



sec 3s aren't staying with u forever.
sec 2 and sec 1s, its your time to shine.
i believe in all of u.
even those who dunt believe in band.
i noe u have it in you.

It's been a long time since anybody came typing some entries uh. It's bored recently without band practices but yea. Its resuming on the 13th oct 2006! "FRIDAY THE THIRTEEN". =D
